Laboratories of the VUC Prague plc are equipped for carrying out of common and special tests of sugar products, intermediate products, and wastes even for tests of other food products
tests for food industry, especially for sugar factories - loss on drying, polarisation, reducing sugars, conductivity ash, refractometric dry substance, sugar solution colour, visual appearance using Colour-Types, particle size distribution, insoluble matter, turbidity, microbiological analyses of final products
determination of trace elements - determination of trace content of cadmium, lead, copper, zinc, iron, manganese and magnesium by atomic absorption spectrofotometry
isotachoforetic determinations - of acids (formic, lactic, acetic, butyric, propionic acids), potassium, sodium, magnesium and calcium in juices, molasses and in waste waters
- consulting and guidance at HACCP system introduction into the food industry
increasing of decontamination in sugar processing, improving of microbiological quality of produced refined sugar, mapping of microbiological contamination course during sugar storage in silos
